Chris founded Helpful Handyman with a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality home repair and remodeling services homeowners can trust. With more than 15 years of experience in remodeling, design, and project management, he combines industry expertise with a customer-first approach centered on communication, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
A lifelong resident of the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids Corridor, Chris enjoys helping homeowners transform their spaces and solve challenges through thoughtful design and practical solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, grilling, watching sports, and cheering on his son at sporting events.
Jason W. Davis
Field Operations Manager
Jason brings more than 30 years of construction and remodeling experience to Helpful Handyman, where he oversees field operations and helps ensure every project runs smoothly from start to finish. His expertise lies in assessing project challenges, developing practical solutions, and setting team members up for success.
Raised in the trades by his father, Jason has a passion for problem-solving and takes pride in delivering quality work for every customer. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, visiting parks and museums, traveling, and cheering on his beloved San Francisco 49ers.
Travis Chambers
Handyman Service Technician
Travis brings 15+ years of hands-on construction and handyman experience to the Helpful Handyman team. He enjoys tackling a wide variety of home repair and improvement projects and takes pride in delivering quality work that leaves customers happy with the finished result.
A resident of Robins, Iowa, Travis has always enjoyed working with his hands and finding solutions to everyday challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, camping, fixing things, and spending time with family and friends. When he's not on the job, you'll often find him watching Iowa Hawkeyes football, NHL hockey, or hanging out with his three dogs.

Tony brings more than 20 years of construction and handyman experience to the Helpful Handyman team. He enjoys the variety that comes with each day on the job and takes pride in providing dependable, high-quality workmanship for homeowners throughout the area.
Based in Riverside, Iowa, Tony is especially skilled in electrical work and enjoys helping customers find practical solutions for their home improvement and repair needs. His extensive experience and attention to detail make him a valuable asset on projects of all sizes.
